A SUPPER THEATRE THAT INCLUDES BREAKFAST!
Tickets have just gone on sale for Crieff Drama Group’s ever-popular Supper Theatre presentation. This year the play is ‘Breakfast for One’, a frenetic one-act costume comedy by David Foxton set in Paris, 1895. Though written in 2002, the piece faithfully captures – in miniature - the mayhem of the traditional French farce.
In a new departure, October’s Supper Theatre is being held in the St. Andrew’s Halls and the event will run for three nights rather than two, from Thursday October 28 to Saturday October 30. Accompanying your ‘Paris breakfast’ will be a superb candle-lit supper with menu choices of Roast Beef and trimmings, Chicken Highlander or Mushroom Stroganoff, followed by either Chocolate Mousse or Lemon Cheesecake, then tea or coffee with mint and tablet. There is no licensed bar this year, but you’re invited to bring along your own drinks for the evening. Glasses will be provided by the Group.
Following on will be the Group’s fast-paced comedy, a madcap mix up of identities, misunderstandings and thoroughly bizarre behaviour all round – from the cast, that is, hopefully not the audience! As always, a superb night out is guaranteed.
Tickets, at £20, can be purchased exclusively by phone on 01764 652077 or 01764 656375. At the same time you can also pre-order your supper menu selections. Quite a few advance bookings have already been made, so the advice is to make sure you get your options in fast.
